Mission Trip 3rd day

What a day. The entire morning was spent in either preparing for the our sermons. You know editing sermons and preaching with a translator. It was so fun my translator is great. He's was like on a role. We just get going and we are unstoppable. Then there is Jeremy. When he is translating it like he spitting out the words, and it so cool. With his African accent, and his absolute enthusiasm, its great. Anyways, I went to my church and it not to big and it in the middle of........pretty much nowhere. It like in the jungle, with banana trees and tones of other trees. It was great. Don't worry i will give my Smithers post on this episode later.

Beautiful morning (Mission Trip Day 3)

Today 6:30 roles around and my body is aroused from deep slumber. I rolled over To a sitting position so that I could get use to my surroundings. The sun was peeking in through the window and the warm breeze outside verse the cold breeze inside left tear drops condensing on my window. Jeremy was still dead to all the new occurrences blossoming with the morning sun. But here I was being beckoned to come outside like a fish being lured by bait. Though the impulse to go out was strong i must still talk to my creator, who made such a beautiful place. So I got my knee and i spoke to God. It was definetly a blessing because i was able to appreciate the blessings of the outdoors more than before. Outside was more beautiful than it peek preview. The birds sang the song that never ends, which is ok because it was so melodies. I think it is interesting how God has made it so that birds can all sing in different intervals but still harmonizing. Anyways, the coconut trees waved there majestic leaves in the morning breeze to glory of king Jesus. The town wrapped in slumber seemed to rise with the sun. med were out in the fields under a little sun block, and from this strings were strung out over the field. These strings had pieces of wood scattered on it in intervals. The men would pluck these strings like harp players, and stream of birds fluttered out of the fields. It was definitely a new experience for me, but i also thought it was very ingenious methods of getting the birds out of the fields. Anyways got to go and work on my sermons. Later.

Trip to Airport (Mission Trip 1st day)

OH no, we are leaving in 3 hours, but yet we are so excited I am so glad we are going and it going to be so much fun but I am going to miss every one and I haven't finished packing, and on and on and on and on. oh well, my mom 's here and we will just hang out and she'll help me. Time freeze. The Senior Class of 2010 is about to embark on a 3 week mission trip to Malaysia. Planning for this trip has been initiated for weeks, and departure from Fountainview Academy is at 5:30, SUPPOSEDLY. Back to live streaming. Wow, time seemed to freeze, we knew that we were leaving but it seemed so far away. Minutes dripped into more minutes until finally about an hour had been accumulated. I was in my room with Jeremy and my mom, and we were philosophizing on the actions we make and the implication they had on life. Yeah it was definitely great time. Then we just hung out until we had to have senior worship. Mrs. Hinds gave us a going away address, to remind us that the devil would be hounding us on all sides and only if we depended on God would we stand strong. Mr. James gave the senior guys on some thoughts that reiterated that fact. Then we went to the Dorm were we load our stuff on the bus, gave last departing words to the guys and went over to WW (aka. Whistling Winds). Seeing that Jeremy and I were riding with my mom we drove over in her rental car, and of course as soon as we got there, there was great weeping and gnashing of teeth because we were leaving. We did what we could to calm fear and give words of reassurance, but you know what can you do, lol. Then we took off down the road, on trip to Radiant Living. 1 min into our trip we had to pull over cause Jeremy and I couldn't remember if we had our passports or not, but we did so we continued on our way. I was driving and my mom would keep telling me to slow down and Jeremy would always laugh at me. After three more hours of philosophizing we reached the Abbotsford area. We didn't know what exit to get off of, well at least not in the day, so we drove around for at almost half hour then we finally went off the right exit and we met the bus, but we went to Little Caesars before we met up with everyone else. WE ORDER 4 hot and ready pizzas but we had to wait 8 minutes for them. Jeremy almost sued; he was like they should call it hot and wait 8 minutes. We had a good laugh. Then we went over to Wal-Mart. My mom went in to get something while Jeremy chilled with the rest of fountainviewers. Then bus left to get gas and we followed it there, but then we decided to just to go to Radiant Living on our own. When we got there the Broussons had just gotten there. They had been traveling with us from school but the turned off at Hope. Now we met up with them again. Once inside the gate Jeremy and I got out to see if we could find a good spot to stay, and Becky joined us. But the front door was locked so we went on around the back to see if there was a door open. Low and behold there was one but by the time we got in the bus was just pulling into the gate so we didn't have much time to claim good spots. Oh well. Yeah so by this time it was almost 10:30 and we were all pretty tired so we went to bed. I had to get up at 2:00 in the morning to bring my mom to the airport. Yeah not sure that i was ready for the next long day ahead.
